Posted on: 13th June 2013 | No Comments

On Saturday 25 May 2013, two students from Cape Cornwall School came to the assistance of an elderly lady who had fallen near Geevor Tin Mine.

Conner Parsons and Morgan Newman stayed with the lady until the paramedics arrived when it was confirmed that she had sustained a fractured upper arm.  Local resident Bo Duke, who also helped said “that the school should be very proud of their conduct and that they are a credit to the school.”

Julie Nash, Head Teacher at Cape Cornwall School has also expressed her congratulations to the boys.
