Neighbourhood Plan Meeting 17th January 2018

Following the Neighbourhood Plan meeting in St Just last month, we appreciate your expression of interest in being involved in taking the Neighbourhood Plan forward, and we are writing now to update you. We are sorry it has taken a few weeks, but we wanted to be able to tell you what is to happen next.

There will be a further public meeting on Wednesday 17th January 2018, in Pendeen Parish Hall commencing at 7pm. Please see the meeting poster. At that meeting, James Hardy (our Community Link Officer) will explain the detail of the four groups:

  • The Steering Group will be responsible for the Project Plan and management
  • The Built Environment and Natural Environment Groups will investigate and gather views on these topics
  • The Community Engagement Group will communicate and keep records of all that happens

Participation in the groups should be seen as a two-year commitment, to see it through.

We hope to have the Chair of another Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group in the west of the county come to give us a brief talk of how they got their neighbourhood plan going.

Then we will divide into four groups, to share thoughts and establish how each group will move forward.

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting. We attach a poster if you are able to publicise this as widely as possible. Thank you. Meanwhile, if you have any queries or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us via the Locum Clerk, Mr Cas Leo, phone 788412 or call into the Council Office Monday-Wednesdays, or email townclerk@stjust.org

Best wishes

Councillors on the Team
