The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on 25 May 2018. The Town Council is carrying out a review of the data it handles and produces. The Town Council do have a lawful basis for processing certain data in the exercise of its public functions in law. However we have limitations and need to ensure we take measures to protect personal data and remain within the GDPR. We have carried out a review of the material we handle and produce; including on the website. We will be further reviewing other data sets in the coming months.

Mayor and Deputy Mayor re-elected
On Monday 14 May 2018 Councillor Brian Clemens was re-elected Town Mayor. Mrs Marna Blundy was re-elected Deputy Mayor. The Mayor would like to thank all the Community Groups/Charities who were able to attend on the evening to talk about their work and how the Community Grant Funding received last year, would assist them.
