Project information poster – CN4C

CN4C is a charity based in Redruth and St Austell. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live better lives, be better off and help the world make better sense. At CN4C We challenge and support people to make positive change in their lives. The change could be living a better life by securing basic needs, living a healthier lifestyle or joining a social activity or club. The change could be becoming better off by accessing education or training, or an individual fulfilling their potential in the workplace. The change could be making better sense of the systems that are currently in place, influencing the development of new systems or setting up a social enterprise that helps to shape the local economy and society. We have recently launched two new and exciting projects aiming to benefit those living and working in Penwith. The first is called The Digital Boost Project. This project looks to engage with Unemployed or Economically Inactive participants in the Penwith area (Postcode specific) and give them the opportunity to learn digital skills in the hope they progress positively into job searching, employment or education/training. This comes with the support of a team to break down barriers to learning or job searching. The Second is called Boosting Careers with Digital skills (Countywide) Focusing on those who are already in employment or self-employed. We will provide support, information and guidance to our clients to enable and encourage them to look into upskilling with the intention to improve their prospects for better employment. Both projects offer Person Centred, one to one support and enable individuals to access all the resources CN4C has to offer. Including access to our Crisis Team who can offer help and advice with a wide range of issues from housing and benefits to debt troubles. Also our education team who run a wide range of programmes aimed at all abilities.
