The events planned are as follows:
- Friday 3rd June: 11am – 4pm Lafrowda present Music on the Plain (collection for Lafrowda festival 2023)
- Saturday 4th June: Pendeen Silver band 12.30 – 1.30pm followed by an afternoon of family activities and stalls by local organisations. (N.B . please get in touch if you can run a stall and/or do a fun family activity )
- Afternoon tea for older residents at Cape Cornwall School 1.30-3.30pm
- Sunday 5th June: *12.30 – 1.45 Jubilee Lunch for invited local volunteers (see below)
- 2pm – 5pm family Ceildh(by the Tinners Barn Dance band) , with tea and cake and dance display by Shindig Cloggers.
IMPORTANT: We have decided to offer 150 free lunches to the towns many hard working and dedicated volunteers (especially as 1st – 7th June is National Volunteers Week). We would like you to send us the names of up to a maximum of 6 of your volunteers who would like to attend (if you have more let us know and if spaces are not filled we will come back to you) . We will set out tables and chairs in the Plain an Gwarry for 12.30pm. Lunch will be provided by Vicky from the Copper Kettle.
ALSO: The team are looking for people who would be happy to bake a cake for the afternoon break in the Barn Dance for the cost of ingredients, and any volunteers who would be happy to serve tea, set up tables, wash up etc. Please get in touch ASAP if you can help: info@theknutstjust.com
