Biography
I worked in St Just for several years as Deputy Head and then Head of School at Cape Cornwall School between 2009 and 2016. I have since become a founding Director of Pendynas, a company working with young people who aren’t in mainstream education and providing professional training in Child Protection, Mental Health and First Aid. I also work for Wave Academy teaching students with medical and health needs.
Education and training are things I am passionate about, for all people of all ages. I am a trustee and Education Officer for Bewnans Kernow and have just completed an MA in History – I love history and can bore anyone within minutes talking about 19th century working class religious belief! Cornish Heritage and protecting and preserving our environment so we can pass it on to future generations is hugely important to me.
I was elected to the council in January 2020.
